About Paige

My name is Paige and I am a 500hr Ayurveda, Trauma informed, classical lineage, and social justice yoga instructor. My journey with yoga began a year before I decided to get my certification. I picked up a book about meditation and mindfulness, and it completely changed my perspective on life and sent me down a beautiful new path. On this path, I found yoga, a meditation in movement. For the first time in my 22 years, I felt my breath and my body move as one. I felt the connection between my mind and body, and I felt whole. I entered what I know of now as a flow state, and it was pure bliss. That’s when I fell in love. Fast forward two years later, I decided to travel the world teaching yoga and sharing it with others. I traveled throughout Europe and Asia, learning as much as I taught-always a student . I created this website to share the love of yoga and mindfulness that I have learned, with others. I teach a traditional route, bringing yoga’s true roots forth in the western part of the world. I am honored and humbled to teach and share this ancient practice as a western woman and wish to keep that essence in my practice.

Ayurveda, Trauma Informed, Classical Lineage (RYT500)

In January 2022, I received my 300hr Yoga Teacher Training certificate in the Sacred Valley of Peru with Indra Yoga Institute. Through this training, I was able to deepen my understanding of how trauma affects the brain and the nervous system. I also learned how trauma lives in the body and the healing potential available through embodiment practices and breathwork. Additionally, I was able to deepen my understanding of Ayurveda, the mother of all healing. It is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science and sister science to Yoga! I was trained in social justice, and learned how to decolonize yoga, make it for ALL bodies, dismantle racism, and identify cultural appropriation. This training not only deepened my knowledge and love for yoga immensely, but completely changed my life and made me a better version of myself. I’ve never had a deeper connection to mother earth, myself, or others than I do today. My cup is SO full and I have never been more excited to share all of this with you.

I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Tenerife, Spain in July of 2019. I chose to do it with a Yoga school called Gayatri Yoga. After extensive research on which yoga teacher training to attend, this one resonated the most with me. Unlike a lot of teacher trainings, this intensive training took a very traditional route in its teachings. Their goal was to teach us here in the West more about the traditional practices and teachings of Yoga and the Yoga Philosophy. This was the most transformative, humbling, and special three weeks of my life. I directly left Tenerife and flew to Spain to work at a Yoga Retreat with all of this new information fresh in my mind, ready to share it with others. Although I was nervous to teach for the first time, I kept a certain phrase in my heart that my yoga teacher taught me: “If you teach with love, you can’t go wrong”. So that is exactly what I did, I led each class with love and trusted that this was the path I was meant to be on. From there, I traveled to more countries teaching the practices I’ve learned and implemented in my life.
